Oreo rice crisp bars ! Are you IN?

Once at time you can let yourself and spoil with some treats like this. Like FAMOUS oreos, but in some more interesting form! ANYWAY! Did you know oreos are vegan?! I discovered it, a while ago, when I created this recipe, around 3 years ago… And I wanted to recreate my preffered oreo taste in many ways. Between smoothies, icecream and differents cakes… All this RECIPES / FOOD STUFF…It reminds me reckless childhood almost – in taste, and with creating recipes anyway – I just feel like a kid…So this is all me. It’s my world, the world of sweets, healthy sweets and the best part is of course EATING them. And sharing with others…Yes, this part I like the most.

Sweets with puffed rice are kind of treats from many kid’s childhood, right, and one of most popular. So combining with chocolate, oreos and fresh dates – is just a combo – TO DIE FOR. So let’s try to make it together!?

Ingredients

    CRUST

    • 330g oreos 
    • 80g melted butter (plant based)

    FILLING

    • 250g 70-80% chocolate
    • 150g medjul dates
    • 50g peanut butter
    • 40g cocconut oil
    • pinch of salt
    • vanilla extract
    • 100g puffed rice

    CARAMEL

    • 40g peanut butter
    • 18g cocconut oil
    • 20g maple syrup

     

    Instructions
    1. First prepare the base – melt plant butter, blend reparately oreos. Combine together and pour into the mold. Press well and leave it rest.
    2. The filling – melt chocolate and coconut oil. Blend peanut butter with dates. Then add melted chcolate with the rest of ingredients. Pour over puffed rice and mix it togeher. Pour everithing over the base. Let it rest in the fridge.
    3. Caramel – Melt coconut oil and mix together maple syrup and peanut butter. Pour over the rice filling.
    4. Let rest everything at least two hours in the fridge. Cut with the warm knife
